Defects,and Structural Problems

New Home Inspection

New homes should be inspected as well. You do not want to move into your new home with serious defects that could be costly to remedy. These items can normally be found during a new home inspection.

You should definitely have the new home inspected by your professional inspector. It can be done after the home is completed or as it is being built with phase inspections.

Having your new home inspected before purchasing protects you and your investment.

Here’s how we do new construction inspection

If available, we will conduct a “Pre-Drywall” inspection. At this time, we can inspect the structure, wiring, plumbing, and HVAC ductwork before everything is covered and hidden by drywall and insulation. That way any corrections can be made quickly and easily before the home is completed.

This inspection is designed to be informative and educational. The report will identify the sizing, spacing, materials used, and location of HVAC Equipment, panel boxes, water heaters, water lines, and plumbing cleanouts. This information is as important as the proper construction of the home itself.

When the house is complete, we conduct a final inspection, where we evaluate the entire home for structural, functional, and safety of the installed systems and components.
